This time Last Year

This time last year it looked like this outside! How cool. I am so excited for Thanksgiving this week and the much needed extra time off. Erin, Eric and I are running in the St. Bernadette’s Turkey Trot for the first time this year. I am so excited it will be my first 5k.
I already got the lights up outside and ready to go! I still have a ton of editing to do on the new Christmas Memories video and hope to get a lot of that done soon!

Well Saturday was Launch day and rather than spoiling it by telling you what happened you can just watch the video.

With the use of advanced satellite imagery we at the McHugh Family Space Administration have pinpointed the exact location for our launch site. According to rocket motor specifications our rocket should be within the 100ft to 200ft recovery area. I think we will all believe that when we see it happen on Saturday. Our expert team (Eric and myself) will be joined by Steve Olshefski of OFAC Raceway fame. Stay tuned for more updates!

I am a true believer in staying young at heart. Although many would just call that being immature, I still find that I am interested and entertained by the same things I enjoyed when was when I was young. Perhaps the biggest difference is I am now armed for each of these trips down memory lane with a bit more knowledge and experience which is certain to only get me into some real trouble. This weekend I am (along with my trusty sidekick Eric) going to re-live one of the hobbies of my youth by firing off a model rocket, hopefully more than once. I plan on taking some video and posting it should all go well or better yet should things go horribly wrong! To Infinity and Beyond!!!
